Triple injury boost for Bulls

Cape Town - The Bulls will be able to call on Jan Serfontein, Francois Hougaard and Flip van der Merwe for their Super Rugby semi-final in two weeks’ time.

According to Bulls team doctor, Org Strauss, Serfontein (knee), Hougaard (ankle) and Van der Merwe will all be fit to play in the semi-finals, due to be played at Loftus Versfeld on Saturday, July 27.

Serfontein and Hougaard missed the Stormers clash last weekend due to their injuries and Van der Merwe was forced off early in the match.

Paul Willemse also played for 62 minutes for the Blue Bulls Under-21 side in his first outing since recovering from a knee injury and will be considered for the semi-final.

I'd keep Siya captain for now, but look to have someone else for 2027.
