Ton-up for Franks at Newlands

Cape Town - Hurricanes prop Ben Franks will earn his 100th Super Rugby cap when they tackle the Stormers at Newlands on Friday night.

Franks, who made his debut in 2006, has represented the 'Canes in 16 matches and has 83 caps for the Crusaders. The front-ranker is in his ninth Super Rugby season and also has 31 All Blacks caps to his name.

Franks, 29, will be joined by experienced Hurricanes prop John Schwalger, playing at tighthead, in one of two changes to the forward pack from the team that lost 27-9 to the Sharks in Durban.

The only other change sees lock Mark Reddish come into the starting XV, while the backline remains unchanged.

On the bench, James Broadhurst and Ardie Savea are included in the 23-man squad.
