Super 15 final tickets sold out

Hamilton - Tickets to Saturday's Super Rugby final between the Chiefs and Durban-based Sharks sold out on Wednesday within hours of going on sale.

Fans queued for hours through a cold night to be near the front of the queue when tickets for the match at the 25 000-seat Waikato Stadium were made available from 08:00 local time.

When ticket booths opened, the queue stretched more than 300 metres. More than 1,500 tickets sold in the first 20 minutes and by 09:30 only 2 000 remained.

Tickets that went on sale to online buyers were also snapped up quickly for the first-ever Super Rugby final in Hamilton.

I'd keep Siya captain for now, but look to have someone else for 2027.
