Siya Kolisi starts at No 8, while Jebb Sinclair, who has just returned from international duty with Canada, provides cover from the bench.

Andries Bekker and De Kock Steenkamp partner up at lock, with Quinn Roux providing cover from the bench. Eben Etzebeth (stiff ankle) is injured and was not included in the match 22.

Frans Malherbe, Deon Fourie and Deon Carstens make up the front row, with Tiaan Liebenberg and Brok Harris providing cover from the bench. Steven Kitshoff, who featured prominently in the IRB Junior World Championships, is rested completely.

      Patrick Cawood - 2012-06-27 13:19

Huh?? U see the team sheet before making that comment?

      orrinf8 - 2012-06-27 13:21

looks like AC believes KING KOLISI must play 'javelin' out of the bok team no 8 .. very shrewd, but i like :)

      harold.lloyd.520 - 2012-06-27 13:22

What AC believes and what is right are 2 different things.

      orrinf8 - 2012-06-27 13:24

that's why he coaches the GREATEST team in SA, Herald!!!

      francis.o.lai - 2012-06-27 13:34

I see @Harold and @BlueRaven are trolling again ... shame boys ... is there nothing better for Bulls supporters to do these days?

      harold.lloyd.520 - 2012-06-27 13:38

As soon as they show the games on E.

      Jed - 2012-06-27 13:42

His opinion Raven, Like my opinion about the Bull's if you take a look at the past 2 years, They the 3rd to 4th best side in South Africa.

      Crapdetector - 2012-06-27 13:49

Die pink poefter spannetjie se supporters se monde is nou weer groot. Hoeveel games het die melkkoeie in n ry verloor in die S15?

      orrinf8 - 2012-06-27 13:52

i am an EXTREMELY PROUD of the STORMERS .. not many bull supporters sharing that sentiment about their team, lol .. HERE WE GO STORMERS, HERE WE GO !!!

      Jed - 2012-06-27 13:52

We rugby supporters we work in season's , let's say what have the Bulls done in the past 2 season :)

      schalk.j.lubbe - 2012-06-27 13:57

Shame - Harold and blueraven will always be one of the first to comment on each and every Stormers report, makes you think if they arent maybe secretly supportering the team that Killed the Bulls on 2 occassions this season...

      harold.lloyd.520 - 2012-06-27 15:24

No Schalk, we are not 'supportering' the Stormers.

      dawiej - 2012-06-27 16:25

@ blue raven bulls fan You old pink fairy supporters are sounding like a 90 old year granpa complaining about good it was in the old days when he paid 10 cent for petrol and now he has to pay 11 Rand . Those were the days, and thats all he wants to talk about. It was good then yeah, and we are all happy for you for your memories. But wake up, this is the present day. Dont dwelll in the past about how good you were, thats not going to win you a cup this year. Those players winning you those cups are not playing now, and they wont be able to win you another cup. SO WAKE-UP YOU PINK FAIRY COW TROLLS LIVING IN THE PAST STORMERS FOR EVER .......

      harold.lloyd.520 - 2012-06-27 16:39

Well Dawie, I'm 120 years old. So nothing wrong with reliving memories.

      smellarat.smith - 2012-06-27 18:56

Stormers vs Bulls vs Sharks - all good Saffa teams, and that should be the only thing that matters to the annoying members of the Rugby kindergarten that forever jibber and jabber parochial nonsense on this blog. Kolisi at 8 sounds very tantalizing - neither Spies or Vermeulen is really inspiring. Spies has speed and that is about it. Vermeulen is a stampkar and we already have Alberts, who seems better suited for number 7. So I can't wait to see how Kolisi do at 8 - AC may be on to something...

      john.edwards.733450 - 2012-06-27 19:08

oooo vallemj .. supporters of a team who's not won anything work by seasons . Who's the 'GREATEST' S15 team would you say ? Crusaders ? They've not won anything since 2008. . Not winning anything in 11yr and coming 2nd once in SR history doesn't qualify them for greatness. Top performing SA team in 2012 SR is the best you can do . Stormers supporters remind me of some of the NH supporters . England eeks out a draw in a dead rubber and they " were magnificent " . .uhm no 'competitive' . The greatest SA SR franchise ? Bulls (2nd the Sharks) . If not for them our name would have been gat in the SR competition since they are the only SA team that's actually won it for us . Best the Stomers could manage in 16 yr is 2nd .

      Nick - 2012-06-27 19:42

hahaha lets not forget the 5 years in a row with anneke as coach rock bottom

  • Pieter - 2012-06-27 13:22

Kom ons hoop Tyrone en Don speel hul harte uit! Sou vir Habana ook heeltemal gerus het.

  • Papa-storm - 2012-06-27 13:28

kom ons kyk wat kolisi op agt kan doen.

      lionel.kemm.9 - 2012-06-27 13:34

I liked your comment Raven:):)That guy is gonna go far in rugby, good luck

      harold.lloyd.520 - 2012-06-27 13:40

Second time today I'm agreeing with Stormers supporters. I've liked this oke since last year already and if Heyneke had to pick him for the Bok team today, I will not have a problem. (Rather him than Schalk)

      lionel.kemm.9 - 2012-06-27 13:44

Future looks good Raven:):) Harry, maybe in about a year or twos time he will get his chance unless injuries of course happen to other players.

      Lance - 2012-06-27 13:51

...of wat hy nie op agt kan doen nie :-)

      Lance - 2012-06-28 09:02

Let me clarify my statement as I see its been mis-understood...We all know he can do everything right on the field, I was just saying it would be interesting to see he has any kinks in his armour because right now he has none.

  • lionel.kemm.9 - 2012-06-27 13:35

    Stormers by 9 points

  • actanonverba.daniels - 2012-06-27 13:38

Think jean also needs a rest. Opportunity for for some of our young okes to make an impact. Stormers to take this one, make it 5! Go Stormers!

  • tumisang.kolobe - 2012-06-27 13:47

    Go Stormers!!!

  • Lance - 2012-06-27 13:50

A second choice team that has the ability to surprise bigtime...solid bench too...

      harold.lloyd.520 - 2012-06-27 14:00

You are right. Pietersen, Aplon, de Jongh, de Villiers, Grant, Duvenhage and Bekker are second choice players at best.

      Deon - 2012-06-27 14:11

      Idiot

      P.J. - 2012-06-27 14:14

Second choice players who kicked your pienk koei asses !!!!!

      harold.lloyd.520 - 2012-06-27 14:19

Lance, Deon called you an idiot. What are you going to do about it?

      hvanderlinde - 2012-06-27 14:35

Harold, De Villiers was giving your beloved bulls players orders just last week. What would that make them? 3rd rate players, at best? I mean if they're not even good enough to get the captaincy from a second choice player like Jean then they must really suck! GO STORMERS!!!

      Deon - 2012-06-27 14:41

I called you an IDIOT ma se haroldtjie...

      harold.lloyd.520 - 2012-06-27 14:46

Him being captain doesn't automatically make him a first rate player. He was only selected at 13 because Danie Gerber isn't playing anymore.

      Tom - 2012-06-27 16:13

Danie gerber, most classic comment ever

      lance.elliott.3914 - 2012-06-27 16:19

Harold, life is great in the Cape, our team is winning so say what you like I couldn't be bothered...atleast my team never lost to the Blues - that is something that could have started mass Bullicide, luckliy it didn't :-)

  • Jason - 2012-06-27 14:17

STTTOOORRMMMMEERRRSSS...!!! Stuff the haters....C'mon boys...keep that winning feeling going...looking forward to Super Rugby season restarting again...

      harold.lloyd.520 - 2012-06-27 14:20

      You mean the choking feeling?

      dirk.louw.1272 - 2012-06-27 14:40

@Jason. You are 100% correct. The guys who is so negative must rather support soccer. Can't wait for this weekend!!! STORMERS JOU LEKKA DING!!!!!!

      orrinf8 - 2012-06-27 14:49

Herald, WHY did you give Dirk a thumb down??? APOLOGIZE NOW AND ASK FOR FORGIVENESS FOR BEING A WORS!!!

      harold.lloyd.520 - 2012-06-27 15:25

I don't do thumbs. It will only scew the figures.

      orrinf8 - 2012-06-27 15:42

      rephrase: AN UNTRUTHFUL WORS !!!

      harold.lloyd.520 - 2012-06-27 15:44

      Doesn't make sense.

  • lourens.vandervyver.798 - 2012-06-27 14:21

Jonges nog nie teleurgestel en sommer nie binnekort nie! En Kolisi is n 7 maar al bewys op 6 en nou gan ons uitvind op Sat hoe goed op 8! Very nice indeed team!...Jou lekker ding

  • gareth.cornelissen - 2012-06-27 14:23

would have loved to see JDIV play in the same position as he played for the Boks - outside centre.

      harold.lloyd.520 - 2012-06-27 14:27

Hopefully running in the right direction this time.

      melt.esterhuizen - 2012-06-27 14:43

      dirk.louw.1272 - 2012-06-27 14:51

@Herold. Don't you have a sheep you must go shag??? If you hate the Stormers so much, why do you read their news. I sense a bit of FEAR!!! STORMERS JOU LEKKA DING!!!!

      Press - 2012-06-27 15:17

Sheep shagging is a thing the Cape Black Cap's identify with . . .

      harold.lloyd.520 - 2012-06-27 15:44

      Tom - 2012-06-27 16:15

Don't read the articles hilarious, can identify with that

      harold.lloyd.520 - 2012-06-27 16:27

      lance.elliott.3914 - 2012-06-27 16:13

      The Springbok captain Harold.

O yes, the Stormers consilation prize.

  • Edward - 2012-06-27 15:04

Would like to see Schreuder starting a game, he might be a bit quicker than Duvenhage, allthough Duvenhage is not bad. Good team overall, glad they are not playing some boks into the ground! Go Stormers!!!

amazing that everyone up north ridicules "grandpa" De Villiers yet he is playing this week and isnt rested, after playing all three tests and not missing a game all season during super rugby. JDV is a legend, what a player. We are lucky to have him as our bok captain. All those Blue Bull players need to step up to the plate in the next few weeks. Hougard, Steyn and Spies need to up their game before the rugby championship or Heyneke is going to be having sleepless nights picking a team without his 3 Bulls pivots. They are all great players, they just need to up their game to where is was during the WC. Might be a blessing is disguise if the Bulls dont make the Super Rugby finals, two weeks of additional rest before we tackle the Argentinians at Newlands?

      orrinf8 - 2012-06-27 22:20

JDV, aka Springbok Captain, aka Stormers Captain, aka Legend, aka Clark Kent, aka SUPERMAN :)

  • TheReal.EuanB - 2012-06-27 18:20

His played 6 - he killed it!\r\nHis played 7 - he vapourised them!\r\nHis playing 8 this weekend and if he shows half of what we know he can do, how are u still going to rob him of a bok jersey. Coz that's what this is...its a crime. Sorry poties, u good, but kolisi was and always will be better!

  • luke.sportify - 2012-06-27 18:36

I really hope the Stormers dont win the Super 15

Tom, like you pray daily for the bulls to win it?

  • Richard - 2012-06-28 10:01

The Bulls boys must just hope and pray Kolisi doesn't run all over Spies. Will be hard to defend his place in the Boks should that happen.
