Cape Town - The Stormers are hunting the services of Lions wing/centre Lionel Mapoe for next year's Super Rugby competition.
Mapoe's agent, James Adams, confirmed to Die Burger's website that Western Province are "one of the teams" eager to attain Mapoe's services.
WP and Stormers coach Allister Coetzee is looking to add to his backline stocks following the departure of Bryan Habana (Toulon) and Joe Pietersen (Biarritz) to France. Wing Gerhard van den Heever is also set to leave Cape Town for Irish province, Munster, after this year's Currie Cup competition.
Mapoe, 25, played Super Rugby for the Bulls this year on a loan agreement with the Lions.
