    Stormers expect 'titanic' battle

    2012-04-04 16:26
Cape Town - The Stormers are bracing themselves for another titanic battle as they prepare to face top New Zealand team, the Highlanders, in Dunedin on Saturday.

The top-of-the-table Stormers are coming off a massive game against the Bulls last week, which they won 20-17 at Newlands, and have flown halfway around the world but Coetzee is confident the players are fully focussed.

“The Highlanders are the best team in the New Zealand conference, there is no time to relax. Our focus is solely on Saturday.

"We expect nothing less than a titanic battle from the Highlanders. They are only two points adrift on the overall log and will be giving it all - it’s going to be another massive one.

“Having only settled in Queenstown yesterday (Tuesday), we have a short week and turn-around, but we are based in a beautiful part of the world which really assists recovery and our ability to prepare mentally and physically," Coetzee told the Stormers website.

Coetzee on Wednesday made one change to the starting line-up that beat the Bulls, with Frans Malherbe moving into the starting XV and Brok Harris moving to the bench.

Kick-off is at 09:35 (SA time) on Saturday.
