Wing Danie Poolman has been released from his contract and will take up a contract with Connacht in Ireland, while loose forward Pieter Louw, who recently started training with the squad again, has opted not to continue playing rugby given work commitments.
Sport24 was told that Poolman's deal is to possibly qualify as an Irish international in future.
Flyhalf Kurt Coleman has also gone on loan to the SWD Eagles and will get much needed senior game time in the Currie Cup First Division, which starts on Friday.
Coleman will return on July 29 and will be available for Western Province in this year's Currie Cup, which commences August 11.
