Stormers backed for S15 title

2012-06-25 10:25

Cape Town - As attention turns back to Super Rugby following the conclusion of the three-week Test window, the Stormers find themselves as the bookmakers' favourites to lift this year's title.

GALLERY: Top sporting pics from the past weekend

Leading SA bookies, Ladbrokes, have installed the Stormers as 2/1 favourites, with the seven-time champion Crusaders next best at 5/2, followed by the current table-topping Chiefs at 11/4.

The Bulls (10/1) and Sharks (25/1) are considered outsiders for the title.

The Stormers' remaining three matches see them welcome the Lions to Newlands (June 30), after which they travel to Bloemfontein to face the Cheetahs (July 7). They finish their campaign against the lowly Melbourne Rebels at home on July 14.

The Stormers currently top the South African Conference by five points from the Bulls, but trail the Chiefs by four points in the Combined standings.

    Dream on!

      René - 2012-06-25 10:56

......and this is the reason I read S24, they REALLY make me laugh!

      Harold - 2012-06-25 10:58

Isak, you lighten up my day. Thank you.

      tokolos.tokkie - 2012-06-25 11:04

Hallo julle Platkop Stompie supporters....... Tokolos is baaaaaaaaack!!!!

      Harold - 2012-06-25 11:06

      Welcome back, Tokkie.

      steph.lombard.7 - 2012-06-25 11:15

As a Bulls supporter, I have to agree with the statement! Stormers have an easier run in, and I reckon the only way they can NOT win the title, is by being beaten by the Crusaders in the final.

      sean.bagley.50 - 2012-06-25 11:23

Opportunity beckons for the Stormers to top the S15 table overall, in that way obtaining not only a home semi-final ,but possibly a home final too.

      japjapjap.wat - 2012-06-25 12:00

As a stoomers supporter, I have to disagree with this stupid statement! it's laughable to think my haasbek kroesader team are going to do it?? We are made to run halve the way and then, then we are looking for bmt, but there are no bmt in our girlyboys and then the wheels come of...?? And then we hold each other’s hands in front of the TV, supporting the greatest team in world rugby- THE BULLS!!! But, but, check us next year??

      Tom - 2012-06-25 13:23

stormers will not win this tournament not this year, not next year, never. sorry for all the broken hearts in the cape, at least you got the mountain

      jandreleroux - 2012-06-25 15:20

Look, I will not be surprised if they are the SA team that does the best. My Bulls were just to erratic. The sharks woke up way to late. The Cheetahs and Lions.... But if they do not have home semis and finals they just wont make it. But for the sake of SA it will be great if a SA team wins!

      thomas.cannon.712 - 2012-06-25 23:19

If my Bulls aren't in the final, I back any of the SA sides who make it too the hilt!!

  • Harold - 2012-06-25 10:27

    Like every year.

      Jed - 2012-06-25 10:41

How dare they call the Stormers Favorites. The Bulls are obviously the favorites. Right Harold. I mean they have 3 super rugby titles to there name, damn bookies.Don't they know that the Bulls are getting Morne Steyn back this weekend!!!!!

      stephen.axtell.7 - 2012-06-25 10:47

      @vallemj, ha ha classic

      frans.visserdsb - 2012-06-25 10:54

lol - vallemj... unfortunately 'sarcasm' and 'irony' are foreign concepts to most on this site... brilliant!

      Harold - 2012-06-25 10:59

Frans, what is sarcasm and irony?

      wp.stormers - 2012-06-25 11:18

How can anyone say the Stormers are favourites after watching the BOKKE on Saturday as clearly the Bulls have the best 8-9 and 10 in world rugby.

      Harold - 2012-06-25 11:24

At last a WP supporter talking sense. Well done, wp.stormers.

      frans.visserdsb - 2012-06-25 12:34

Harold... google it. Here's a hint. 'Irony' does not mean made out of iron...

      Harold - 2012-06-25 12:44

      What's google?

      Tom - 2012-06-25 13:25

sarcasm - vomitting up your food after eating (normally from watching the stormers snorefest) irony - not eating food because you think you are fat (normally caused from watching the stormers lose the S15 every year even when favourites every year)

      frans.visserdsb - 2012-06-25 15:47

again, Harold - it's not the stuff you put on your face so you can see better... those are goggles...

      Crapdetector - 2012-06-26 09:39

Harold and Tom thinks irony is what the spanners they use to fix their XR6's every Saturday in Danville are made of.

      Tom - 2012-06-26 21:46

the spanners? i believe the spanners first landed in the cape. my ancestors are from northern europe and i guess your insult misses that target. my viking ancestors were wearing bull horns long before the crunchies landed in cape town to start steeking the maids

  • Claude - 2012-06-25 10:37

Its a long way to go still but the Stormers are looking good with some injured players starting to return. There campaign will go well especially if the Crusaders beat the Chiefs and the Stormers finish at the top of the log, which will give them a home final against probable opposition of either the Crusaders or the Chiefs. Who ever wins Rugby should be the ultimate winner.

      Tom - 2012-06-25 13:26

whoever stormers play wherever they play them will defeat them in the semi or the final. that is a certainty and i cant wait - i am thanking the father above in advance

      sean.brady.14224 - 2012-06-25 14:46

The Crusaders need more than a win against the Chiefs to make top spot in NZ. There are derbies against the Hurricanes for both sides as well which could prove interesting. The Stormers need to pick up two bonus points in the last three games to give them some space should the Chiefs lose a game - this is not optional! The worry could be that Schalk or Vermeulen come back in the next three weeks. They haven't been part of the setup for a while, it may be better to stick with the guys who have played together most of the season. Another concern is Elstedt missing the first game through suspension, and possibly Etzebeth needin to rest a game as well. One thing is for sure, the Stormers and Bulls won't underestimate my Lions thanks to the Sharks [four weeks ago]. It promises to be a thrilling three rounds of rugby!!!

  • orrinf8 - 2012-06-25 10:40

    SSSTTTOOORRRMMMEEERRRSSS

      René - 2012-06-25 10:59

@orrin, you can SCREAM all you want, it's not going to change the outcome at the end of the day!! You guys better stock up on hmmm, some serious depression medication.

      Harold - 2012-06-25 11:16

Every year it's the same STORMERS DING - FAILURE.

      Harold - 2012-06-25 11:26

      Jealous of what exactly, orrin?

      orrinf8 - 2012-06-25 11:32

      a GREAT team Herald .. they're called SSSTTTOOORRRMMMEEERRRSSS :)

      René - 2012-06-25 11:40

@orrin, a great team that has achieved WHAT exactly? LoL... Your papsak supporter behaviour smacks of desperation. Reading your comments and trying to convince one another is really entertaining. Keep up the good work.

      orrinf8 - 2012-06-25 11:50

it's called TEAM SPIRIT and BELIEF IN YOUR TEAM .. something that bulls just CAN'T comprehend .. once again ou vrou - DIS N STORMERS DING, N LEKKER LEKKER STORMERS DING, ONS KANNIE WORRY NIE, VAN ONS GAAN WEN, DIS N STORMERS DING !!! ;)

      Harold - 2012-06-25 11:56

      It's called desperation.

      René - 2012-06-25 12:02

@orrin, BELIEF IN YOUR TEAM - hahaha, tx! I think I will copy some of these comments for after the S15... One thing I can say about you Stompies, you really believe in 'aanhouer wen' or 'agter osse kom ook in die kraal' - WEL GEDAAN!!!

      orrinf8 - 2012-06-25 12:20

i'm gonna hold you to that one, Rene .. so when we win the super rugby final(bookies called it as well), at NEWLANDS, you must bow down to ALL STORMERS and beg for forgiveness for being a DOUBTING TARRYN :)

      gustav.louw.12 - 2012-06-25 12:23

Ag ou Gustav, I'm just in a jovial mood and enjoying myself. Stormers winning S15 - bwahahahaha, you cannot argue, but that is funny

      René - 2012-06-25 12:53

En oja Gustav, I'm really honoured that you use the Bulls to benchmark the Stormers' performance. Really honoured. Thanks hey!

      Tom - 2012-06-25 13:28

i cant wait for the chiefs or the crusaders to unpick your defense is offense strategy - i am going to have a woody for days when the curtain comes down on your stormers hopes

      orrinf8 - 2012-06-25 13:44

i just love the fact that 2 of my comments were removed :) .. goes to show, the truth hurts :D .. anywhooo, ou vrou, you're still a miserable 'pink cow' that needs to move along, SWIFTLY and Herald, you still support a TURD team .. STORMERS 4 LIFE and MY BLOED BLY GROEN ;)

      René - 2012-06-25 13:50

@orrin, you rather sound like the miserable one. A sure sign is insults and lack of upbringing and lack of education and being a papsak supporter. I'll buy you some Kleenex when your team loses AGAIN!!! I don't care who wins but I know it won't be your team. Tough luck.. but try again next year. Toodles

      Backstabber - 2012-06-25 17:55

Rene what's up with hat lovie? Complete the following word: trailerp.rk Hehehehehehehehe...

      Tom - 2012-06-25 19:58

      rene looks hot to me

  • stephen.axtell.7 - 2012-06-25 10:42

To all bitter Bull supporters why are you reading this article if its about the Stormers. I am beginning to wonder if these bitter Bulls supporters are just as bad as those Cape Croessader supporters

      Harold - 2012-06-25 11:00

      I wonder as well.

      japjapjap.wat - 2012-06-25 12:22

@stephen- "I am beginning to wonder if these bitter Bulls supporters are just as bad as 'US'- Cape Croessader supporters"?? Tom - 2012-06-25 13:29

why do stormers supporters comment on bulls players in the boks only ? idiot will be wearing the shirt of whoever plays the stormers

  • nicnac.nac - 2012-06-25 10:46

Please, just spare us all from that terrible day when the Stormers win the Super 15. How do you know when the standard of rugby in the S15 was really poor? When the Stormers win it.

      René - 2012-06-25 11:00

@nicnac, don't worry, its not gonna happen - this article is only there to 'lighten the mood' on a cold Monday morning.

      Harold - 2012-06-25 11:07

And to create more false hope.

      Tom - 2012-06-25 13:30

newlands is going to be a very quiet place after 80 minutes on the day of the final - if they make it that far!!!

  • paul.sdoow - 2012-06-25 10:50

and what odds have the booki got that the bulls make top six? cause i pretty sure the shark tank won't forgive them esp with steyn on such great form!

      Jed - 2012-06-25 11:00

You leave Morne alone Paul!!!! Besides missing half his kicks, getting his kick charged down leading to a try (3rd Test), missing half his kicks, not rolling away from the tackle, leading to Youngs try, kicking the ball out on the Full leading to another try (2nd test). What else has he done wrong NOTHING. So go try your luck some where else. Morne you biscuit.

      René - 2012-06-25 11:02

@paul, I doubt the Bulls supporters have high hopes for this year, at least we don't fool ourselves!

      stephen.axtell.7 - 2012-06-25 11:50

@renee, oh please you say that now. But you and your fellow Clutch-Plate Van Tonders were singing a different tune earlier. Its very easy and such a cop out to say now all of a sudden the Sloping Foreheads didnt have expectations for the Bulls.

      Harold - 2012-06-25 11:57

Stephen, if one supports a team like the Bulls, you always have expectations. Not always too high, though, like you lot.

      René - 2012-06-25 12:07

@stephen, its ok to have a 'selective memory' most papsak supporters suffer from it. Please do some homework and go and look/find one just one comment of mine in the archives where I've said we will win the S15 this year... C'mon, PLEASE prove me wrong. I'm waiting in anticipation.

      stephen.axtell.7 - 2012-06-25 12:08

I suppose the Bulls supporters think playing skop skop rugby and thinking Morne Stain is any good is an expectation. But you arrogant lot try to make the lamest of excuses when you lose a match you were suppose to win easily (according to the Slopping Foreheads)

      René - 2012-06-25 12:16

@stephen, we are not ARROGANT, never, ok maybe a little teeny weeny bit sometimes! We are just content, relaxed and not desperate.

      stephen.axtell.7 - 2012-06-25 12:33

@renee, well heres one for a start: http://blogs.sport24.co.za/ThePinkCow/bulls-trashing-one-legged-stormers and please I cant believe you couldnt see all those comments from the Bulls supporters saying they would win easily against the Stormers

      Harold - 2012-06-25 12:46

Stephen, what's your point? Saying we're gonna beat the Stormers and saying we're gonna win the cup are 2 different things.

      stephen.axtell.7 - 2012-06-25 12:50

Arrogance is still arrogance. The same arrogant Bulls supporter said the Bulls wouldnt lose a single game on tour, and you know how that turned out

      René - 2012-06-25 12:55

no no Stephy, mine, not the others, a comment from me, where I've said we will win the S15. Try again please

      melt.esterhuizen - 2012-06-25 13:34

Never done, will never do it! Geniet jou daggie verder!

      melt.esterhuizen - 2012-06-25 14:55

@Rene, Gaan goed dankie. Aanvaar jou kommentaar. Stem saam Bekker was power, hoop vir almal se part hy doen nou beter. As Juandre wil bo bly moet hy en Bismarck se verstandhouding by die lynstane vinnig verbeter. Grte

  • thethird.wors - 2012-06-25 10:53

we need to rest some guys though, LISTEN TO ME please AC. Eben and JDV specifically. Bryan Habana maybe on the bench only, and so on.

      japjapjap.wat - 2012-06-25 12:42

yes @wors- me agree's with your technical statement...put them all to rest- they need it desperately??

  • cape.maori - 2012-06-25 10:58

Since when the do the Crusaders play second fiddle to the stormpies? Come now boys and girls, don;t become emotional. The Crusaders are back and some recent impressive performances will remind all of you as to the real champions of the S15. Imagine the stormpies play against the Crusaders at Crusader's Park in Newlands - you remember what happened last year, in the pool and the semi's. Go Crusaders!

      tokolos.tokkie - 2012-06-25 11:07

Whatever wannabe Maori.... Don't you have to be somewhere with a bone through your nose running around in the forest with a blow pipe? The family is hungry my friend... off you go to the woods now!!!

      stephen.axtell.7 - 2012-06-25 11:11

Crusader Park is that in Gatesville Tik Kop. I just wonder if that incident with the Junior Silver Ferns was not one of their players but one of there toothless wonder supporters. Poor women abuse is well known in those parts. No papsak and people start getting angry

      Jed - 2012-06-25 11:12

Did you lads not loose to the Bulls?

      Harold - 2012-06-25 11:18

No vallem, but they did lose.

      cape.maori - 2012-06-25 11:18

      wp.stormers - 2012-06-25 11:29

I really am sick and tired of people of your ilk who have no national pride and turn up to Springbok matches dressed as NZ fans. If this is how you are taught in your house then please keep it at home as we firstly don’t want to see you in OUR stadiums and secondly we don’t want to read your drivel on OUR sites. There is nothing wrong with goodhearted banter from South African fans, but when a turncoat shows up on here..... my blood boils.

      cape.maori - 2012-06-25 11:36

@WP - we call it freedom of expression mate! Sorry to hear about your boiling blood! I know a good GP! Go Crusaders!

      René - 2012-06-25 11:43

Aah leave Cape alone, he is just a bit confused! But I do agree with him that should the Crusaders & Stompies meet somewhere in the play-offs, we know what the outcome will be.

      stephen.axtell.7 - 2012-06-25 11:43

@cape tik, well he has the right to call you the traitorous pig that you are. You and your ilk must be treated with the utmost contempt. Proudly Stormers and Proudly Anti Cape Croessaders

      wp.stormers - 2012-06-25 11:46

@cape.maori, I agree there is nothing wrong with freedom of expression, but when you are a TRAITOR that is another story, take a long hard look in the mirror and think is this the way I want my friends and family to remember me?? Your obituary will read: (here lies cape maori a traitor to his country of birth and an embarrassment to all his friends and family, may his blackened heart find peace one day.)

      cape.maori - 2012-06-25 11:56

@WP stormer- pointless debating these "soft" issues with me. I'm a rugger supporter. The beauty of all is that I don't need to justify anything to you or any other of your ilk! Simple as that. Finish and klaar!

      wp.stormers - 2012-06-25 12:08

@cape.maori, well you are trying to justify yourself mate.... if you are a rugby supporter as you claim to be and obviously follow NZ closely then why don’t you do us all a favour and go and troll through their websites and leave ours to true SOUTH AFRICAN’S will a sense of pride?

      cape.maori - 2012-06-25 12:17

@WP - I do. The benefits of the internet. Since when were you appointed as the headboy at Sport 24? If I missed that, congrats boet. You deserve it. Go check New Zealand Herald, Stuff, Sky Sport, Fox, Sport 24, you name it! I'm a true South African, a child of this soil. There is, however, a fundamental difference between South Africa and South African rugby. Cheers mate! See you at Crusaders Park in Newlands!

      wp.stormers - 2012-06-25 12:35

@cape.maori, please do tell.... (the difference between South Africa and South African rugby) And you say you are a true SOUTH AFRICAN a child of this soil.... I think not, a child of this soil would support the national team at all costs.... what so called true South African could betray the country of his birth? Anyway go and stick to your beloved New Zealand Herald, Stuff & Sky Sports as I am sure they appreciate your talents a lot more than we TRUE South African’s ever could.....

why you trolling ? you can't be finished eating the humble pie from Friday with all those brave comments about baby blacks gonna thrash the baby proteas.

      waseem.frieslaar - 2012-06-25 13:31

Disgraceful to say the least. It seems that sports art no longer a uniting force. The comments by the supporters on this site boarders on hate speech, blasphemy, rudeness, insensitive, hateful and ignorant to name a few. How can supporting a provincial team no matter who they are make you a “traitor” “gay” or a “tik kop” The comments made are vindictive and usually never has any relevance to the actual article. I know the internet is a medium whereby people can express themselves freely but this has gone too far. Grow up!!!

      wp.stormers - 2012-06-25 15:30

@Waseem Frieslaar, the question here is not about provincialism from me but about patriotism for your country of birth and of residence. There is no hate speech, blasphemy, rudeness, insensitive, hateful or ignorant wording at all and maybe you might find that on other posts. The question is if you hate your national team so much as to wear the colours of your arch enemy then what are you doing here? We saw what happened in 95 when the Springboks won the world cup and what it did for the country as a whole as NO other sporting even has come close to emulating it. What I am asking is if you hate the Springboks so much then please keep it to yourself as it is hate speech to proud South African’s who through sport feel that we can make a difference.

  • keithronald.wildschut - 2012-06-25 11:17

This is music in my ears but I'm worried about the semi-finals.If we play the Crusaders at Newlands our heads must be sound. In the final anything can happen.

      cape.maori - 2012-06-25 11:22

Playing the Crusaders in Cape Town is like playing the Crusaders in Christchurch. Home ground advantage. The stormers tried it last year in the pool game and the semi's.

      Harold - 2012-06-25 11:27

Keith, with you guys it's normally the same thing that happens in a final.

      stephen.axtell.7 - 2012-06-25 11:36

@cape tik, oh please yes I know your fellow Croessader supporters make a lot of noise and behave like pigs, but the overwhelming people at Newlands support the Stormers and havent got chips on there shoulders - you 1980's dinosaur

      Tom - 2012-06-25 13:32

the stormers will never have their grubby hands on that trophy. NEVER...its the same story every year

      frans.visserdsb - 2012-06-25 13:37

Tom... never is a long time...

      Tom - 2012-06-26 21:48

fransvisser your "intelligent comments" fly right over my head china. just lower yourself to my level

  • sean.bagley.50 - 2012-06-25 11:18

Opportunity beckons for the Stormers to top the S15 table overall, in that way obtaining not only a home semi-final ,but possibly a home final too.

      Harold - 2012-06-25 11:24

      Opportunity what?

      Tom - 2012-06-25 13:33

      opportunity to choke again

  • LaBlue - 2012-06-25 11:38

Ah damnit, looks like all the inbred Bull Trolls are back. I missed this.

      Harold - 2012-06-25 11:47

Not all of us are back. Some are pretty quiet today.

  • juan.nel.184 - 2012-06-25 11:43

Perhaps they can win it as the "//Hui !Gaeb Stormers"

      warren.mudge.5 - 2012-06-25 12:58

Good to see you keeping up with the news. Love the humour.

      frans.visserdsb - 2012-06-25 13:38

Lol - I actually like it - the place where clouds meet... at least it's not the name of some obscure freedom fighter nobody has ever heard of before, or a mythical chief...

  • thabiso.s.bokwe - 2012-06-25 12:00

So glad SupeRugby resumes this weekend... HM was starting to get on my nerves.\r\n#i_am_a_stormer!

      Tom - 2012-06-25 13:33

      Chokers!!

  • shaheen.johnson - 2012-06-25 12:11

Why... Oh why, do our journalist here in the Cape go out of their way to talk the team up soooo much. Yes we were very consistent the past couple of years making semi's and finals. But even as a lifelong WP/Stormers supporter I hate it when sport24 writes such rubbish. Rather say, "we're among the favourites for the title this year...". Anyway, they kinda remind me of the British journalist when it comes to the England Football team....

      wp.stormers - 2012-06-25 12:39

      @shaheen.johnson, I totally agree with you 100%.

      japjapjap.wat - 2012-06-25 12:53

      rohann.olivier.1 - 2012-06-25 13:14

Did Sport 24 say they are the favourites? Or did the sportbook Ladbrokes give them the best odds to win?

      frans.visserdsb - 2012-06-25 13:40

Rohann, I was actually just going to make the point - this is a story about the odds given by Ladbrokes... not anything from a CT journo, it gives an indication of what the bookies think, no more and no less. People who actually put their money where their mouth is. Literally...

      frans.visserdsb - 2012-06-25 13:42

      Harold - 2012-06-25 12:31

They have been silencing us for 11 years.

      Tom - 2012-06-25 13:35

i have never been silences by a stormer because i see no trophies being held above their heads, the only silence i predict is the loss to whoever u play in the semi or final...silence of all the mountain people

  • warren.mudge.5 - 2012-06-25 12:55

    Go Sharks

  • Pieter - 2012-06-25 13:13

  • Pieter - 2012-06-25 13:16

Pasop net vir Grey College, ek bedoel CHEETAHS

  • rhyno.smith.96 - 2012-06-25 13:35

I think some other teams might have something to say about that! Stormers at 2/1, a brave man would risk money on this.

  • rohann.olivier.1 - 2012-06-25 14:00

    We shall never forget! http://www.thestormers.co.za/log.asp?year=2002

  • Lian.Smit - 2012-06-25 14:24

@harold, Tom, Rene and all the others just like these. firstly, to resort to insults just shows your level of intelligence. secondly, even if the stormers do not win the S15 this year, they still beat the bulls, twice. thirdly, tom, the "stormers supporters" don not just comment on the players because they are bulls. the comment on the players that are in the SPRINGBOK team whom do not belong there. it is by pure coincidence that the 2 underperforming players are MS and spies. so get your head out of the ground.

      or gory super rugby

  • louis.d.bruyn - 2012-06-25 15:10

If the Crusaders beat the Chiefs next week I predict a final at Newlands against the Chiefs. Stormers would end the regular season on top followed by the Chiefs, Brumbies, Crusaders, Bulls, Sharks.(My prediction only) Crusaders will beat the Bulls in NZ, Sharks should upset the Brumbies in Aus. Semi 1: Chiefs vs Crusaders with Semi 2: Stormers vs Sharks. Thus a Stormers vs Chiefs final!

      cape.maori - 2012-06-25 15:25

Why do you think the Chiefs will beat the Saders? Is it because you fancy your chances against the Chiefs but not the Saders. Chiefs game improved in the forwards and will run most teams to pices with the backs. I still think the Saders have to much class for the Chiefs. I might be mistaken.

      louis.d.bruyn - 2012-06-25 15:41

For me they are very evenly matched. Recent form might suggest that the Crusaders are the better team with the Chiefs the more consistent. Either way a final against either one of them will be tough. I hope its the Chiefs because we havent played them yet.

      cape.maori - 2012-06-25 15:54

      @Louis - fair comment!

  • vincent.s.cupido - 2012-06-25 16:26

I am a staunch Bulls Supporter, but I want to give the Stormers credit for having done well enough so far to participate in the play-offs. They deserve it, point. For the sake of SA Rugby, and if they are the only SA team that goes through, I would really like to support them, in fact, I would feel compelled to support them, as I will never support any team from another country above my own country's team. However, and I am definitely not "anti-stormers" by saying this, I am very honest and objective here, we all (including staunch Stormers supporters) know very well that the Stormers tend to beat themselves and fail to deliver when it really matters, whether this is a mental/psychological issue, I don't know, but I am honestly doubtful that we can count on them to deliver the goods and make South Africans proud. They also lack BMT, and I would seriously advise that Toetie and kie should concentrate on mental strengthening and preparation of their players over the following three weeks, so that they can stand the test of time if they are going to play in the last stages of the competition. I really believe this is their best opportunity in years to taste glory, and they should not blunder this chance to win silwerware. Let us also not forget that my mighty Bulls know how to win crunch games, albeit our recent loss against the Stormers, and we are most definitely not our of the race as yet, although the Stormers are better positioned then us to compete in the play-off's

      frans.visserdsb - 2012-06-26 12:13

Thanks Vincent - good comment. Fair point on the Stormers, however, they have on a fair number of tight matches this year with limited player resources due to injury. I believe this would have toughened them up.. I hope that the Bulls and the Sharks make the play-offs - I would love a all SA final at Newlands!!!
