Stegmann fit, Sadie ruled out

Pretoria - Bulls flank Deon Stegmann was declared fit again on Monday after fully recovering from a broken arm.

The Bulls said in a statement that Stegmann would be available for their Super Rugby clash against the Sharks in Durban on Friday.

Meanwhile, the Bulls announced that centre Johann Sadie's Super Rugby season was over after he suffered a grade three ligament tear to his ankle.

Bulls team doctor Org Strauss confirmed that Sadie would be out of action for six weeks.

He will therefore miss the rest of the Super Rugby campaign.

Prop Rossouw de Klerk was also back in training after sitting out for most of the season, while hooker Bongi Mbonambi would be able to train in a week's time, following an ankle strain.

Bjorn Basson, Dewald Potgieter, Dean Greyling, Flip van der Merwe, Jacques Potgieter and Pierre Spies could not train on Monday due to minor ailments, but they would be back in training on Tuesday.

Lionel Cronje (four weeks) and Fudge Mabeta (three months) remain long-term casualties.
