Smit trusts Sanzar over Hoffmann action

Cape Town - Sharks CEO John Smit has backed Sanzar to deal with Rohan Hoffman following the Australian referee's questionable display in Saturday’s Super Rugby clash between the Waratahs and the Durban-based side.

As it happened: Waratahs v Sharks

The former Springbok captain responded to a post that had been directed his way on Twitter.

The Sharks were beaten 33-18 after having had numerous calls go against them throughout the 80 minutes.

It was the sixth straight loss in the tournament for the Sharks, who face the Reds in Brisbane next weekend.
