Sharks suffer Du Toit blow

Cape Town - Sharks lock Pieter-Steph du Toit has been ruled out of their clash against the Reds due to a knee injury.

The 21-year-old Springbok was initially named in the Sharks starting team but was injured in training on Thursday.

The Sharks are still waiting on scan results to determine the severity of the injury.

Stephan Lewies will replace Du Toit in the starting team, while director of rugby Jake White is yet to name a new player to take Lewies's spot on the bench.

Kick-off at Kings Park is at 17:05 on Saturday.
