Sharks' Zeilinga crocked

    2014-05-06 14:44

Cape Town - Flyhalf Fred Zeilinga has been ruled out of the remainder of the Sharks' Australasian tour with a hamstring injury.

Jaco van Tonder will fly Down Under as a replacement, while Tim Swiel is expected to return to the bench for the Sharks' next match against the Brumbies in Canberra on Saturday.

Kick-off is at 11:40 SA time.

Frans Steyn wore the No 10 jersey in the Sharks' first overseas match against the Rebels in Melbourne last Friday.

The news of Zeilinga's early return follows shortly after confirmation that flank Marcell Coetzee has returned home after sustaining a tour-ending shoulder injury.

Coetzee has been replaced by veteran Jacques Botes.
