Sadie to become a Cheetah

Cape Town - Bulls centre Johann Sadie is apparently heading for Bloemfontein to continue his rugby career at the Cheetahs.

Volksblad was reliably informed that Sadie has already agreed to become a Cheetah.

This comes after news broke on Thursday that Sadie had asked to be released from his contract at the Bulls.

Sadie has had an indifferent season since joining the Pretoria side from the Stormers at the end of last year. He's struggled to hold down a spot in the Bulls' 22-man squad after a season plagued by injury and a dip in form.

The Bulls management have apparently given the 23-year-old their blessing to “look at other options” ahead of a possible release from his contract.

It is believed he's unhappy with the lack of game time he has received this season.
