Hamilton - Chiefs captain Craig Clarke said the trip to South Africa isn't the daunting task it used to be after their brilliant 33-14 victory over the Hurricanes, according to the allblacks.com website.
The Chiefs beat the Cheetahs (39-33) and the Sharks (18-12) on their two-match SA tour.
"It's still a tough trip to do. I think you've just got to realise it's going be tough during the week with your body adjusting.
"But you know game day your body will come right. You've just got to guts it out."
Coach Dave Rennie said his side hadn't talked about the difficulties face on the bounce from South Africa to Waikato Stadium and instead praised his side's attitude.
"We didn't really discuss that over there. We thought the attitude would be really important tonight and we got that in bucket loads from the starting guys and the bench."
