Rose on Stormers bench

Melbourne - Stormers coach Allister Coetzee has named his team to take on the Rebels at AAMI Park in Melbourne on Friday.

Kick-off is at 11:40 SA time.

Coetzee has rested lock Andries Bekker and hooker Deon Fourie from the team that beat the Brumbies in Canberra last weekend. They are replaced by Anton van Zyl and Tiaan Liebenberg repectively.

Duane Vermeulen returns at No 8 in place of Nick Koster who drops to the bench.

In the backline, scrumhalf Ricky Januarie starts as expected in place of the injured Duwaldt Duvenage with Louis Schreuder providing cover, while Kurt Coleman continues at flyhalf in place of the injured Peter Grant.

In the centres, Jean de Villiers starts alongside fellow Bok Jaque Fourie, while Juan de Jongh has been included among the substitutes.

Frans Malherbe replaces Steven Kitshoff on the bench while controversial selection Earl Rose gets a chance to prove his doubters wrong as a backline replacement.
