Read returns for Crusaders

Cape Town - Kieran Read has recovered from his ankle injury and has been named in the Crusaders' starting XV for their Super Rugby clash against the Blues in Christchurch on Saturday.

Kick-off is at 09:35 SA time.

Read missed the Crusaders' last six games, but lines up at No 8 and resumes the captaincy for the match. He is the only change to the side that beat the Brumbies 30-23 a fortnight ago.

There is still no room for Israel Dagg in the starting line-up.

The seven-time champion Crusaders are currently third in the New Zealand Conference and sixth in the Overall standings. The Blues meanwhile find themselves in second and fifth in the two logs, respectively.
