Durban - Odwa Ndungane will play no further part for the Sharks on their Australasian Super Rugby tour after sustaining a groin injury.

Ndungane picked up an abductor injury during training on Tuesday. It’s been confirmed that the wing will return to Durban for further scans and testing, and not feature in the Sharks’ remaining tour matches.

The Sharks will play the Hurricanes on April 6 and the Blues on April 13 before returning home to Durban.

Scrumhalf Conrad Hoffmann has been called up to join the team in New Zealand.
