Naas: Ludeke did right thing

Cape Town - Former Springbok and Bulls flyhalf, Naas Botha, says Frans Ludeke did the right thing to step down as Bulls coach.

Ludeke quit as Bulls mentor coach following their 42-29 home loss to the Cheetahs in their final 2015 Super Rugby game on Saturday.

Nollis Marais was appointed as Currie Cup coach for the 2015 season, with a new Super Rugby coach yet to be named.

“The Bulls won the (Super Rugby) trophy twice under Ludeke, but nothing has changed since then,” Botha was quoted as saying on Netwerk24.

“The game plane worked, but it worked five years ago. Everyone waited for change, as was promised, but it unfortunately didn’t happen.”
