Cape Town - Springbok and Bulls flyhalf Morné Steyn and his wife Christelle have welcomed a baby boy into the world.

Steyn wrote on his Twitter page: At the hospital,waiting for our baby boy to join us in the real world!Thanks to everyone for the tweets,appreciate the support!!God bless!

A few hours later, baby Jovan's proud Godparent, Arno Jordaan, tweeted: "Baie geluk aan @mornesteyn en stella met jovan wat vanoggend gebore is op sy b-day!!grootvooreg vir my en @lizaniepohl om peetouers te wees."

Steyn and his wife have been in a relationship since school and married in 2009 at Sun City.
