Cape Town - Cheetahs lock Lood de Jager will be sidelined for at least three months after undergoing an operation to repair injured elbow ligaments.
De Jager left the field in the first half of the Cheetahs' 35-29 Super Rugby win against the Sharks at Kings Park in Durban last Saturday.
