Cape Town - The exodus of South African players to France continued en masse with Lions captain JC Janse van Rensburg leading the new round of exiles when he signed for Bayonne for the coming season.
According to the supersport.com website, the move, confirmed by his agent James Adams, will see the Lions captain leave South Africa after the promotion-relegation game for his new side.
Also signed to new clubs were former Lions and Sharks wing/centre Wandile Mjekevu, who joins Stormers scrumhalf Dewald Duvenhage at Perpignan, while CJ van der Linde has been linked to a move to Stade Francais.
