Cape Town - Lions coach Johan Ackermann has named his team to tackle the Waratahs in a Super rugby clash in Johannesburg on Saturday.
Up front, Ackermann has made three changes to the starting front row. Schalk van der Merwe will start at loosehead prop, Armand van der Merwe moves up into the starting side at hooker and Julian Redelinghuys comes in at tighthead.
Meanwhile, in the backline, the only change takes place at inside centre as Harold Vorster is promoted to the starting side, with Howard Mnisi sitting out.
On the bench, Malcolm Marx will provide cover for hooker, while Corne Fourie and Marnitz Boshoff return to the match-day 23. Stokkies Hanekom is also a new inclusion to the side and will provide centre cover.
Kick-off for Saturday’s clash is scheduled for 19:10.
