Lions name side to face Chiefs

Johannesburg - Lions coach John Mitchell has named his team to play in their Vodacom Super Rugby match against the Chiefs in Pukekohe on Saturday at 09:35 SA time.

There are five changes to the starting line-up from the team who played the Brumbies last weekend.

Franco van der Merwe replaces Hendrik Roodt at No 4 lock, with Ruan Botha his partner in the second row.

Derick Minnie replaces Cobus Grobbelaar at blindside flank while Grant Hattingh will get his first start for the Lions on the openside.

Ross Cronje starts at scrumhalf ahead of Tian Meyer who has been moved to the bench.
