Lengthy layoff for Bulls duo

Cape Town - Bulls loose forwards Dewald Potgieter and Deon Stegmann will be sidelined for extended periods due to injuries.

As it happened: Hurricanes v Bulls

The duo flew home to South Africa after picking up injuries in the Bulls' 25-20 loss to the Hurricanes in Napier, New Zealand at the weekend.

Both went for MRI scans on Monday.

Potgieter's injury (torn bicep) will see him sidelined for six months, while Stegmann (torn groin) will be out for six to eight weeks.
