Cape Town - SANZAR has announced a number of amendments to the referee appointments for Round 17 of Super Rugby this weekend.
Confirmed officials for Super Rugby Rounds 17 and 18
The Lions v Rebels match in Johannesburg (Saturday, July 7 at 17:05) now has Jaco Peyper confirmed as the assistant referee to be part of the team of officials.
Further changes have been made with Mike Fraser being unavailable due to his wife expecting their baby, while Angus Gardner has an injury which has ruled him out.
Ian Smith will now be an assistant referee for the Reds v Highlanders match in Brisbane on Friday, July 6 at 11:40 as well as the Waratahs v Brumbies match on Saturday, July 7 at 11:40 in Sydney.
Andrew Lees replaces Mike Fraser as referee for the Blues v Force match on Saturday, July 6 at 09:35 in Auckland, with Glen Jackson and Sheldon Eden-Whaitiri joining him as the assistant referees.
For the Cheetahs v Stormers match in Bloemfontein on Saturday, July 7 at 15:00, the assistant referees are now Sindile Mayende and Reuben Rossouw.
