Commentary by Sport24's Garrin Lambley

21:02 - In next weekend's action, the Sharks welcome the Hurricanes to Durban (Saturday, February 22 at 17:05) while the Bulls travel to Bloemfontein to face the Cheetahs (Friday, February 21).

21:02 - The Bulls leave empty-handed and head back to Pretoria as the bottom team in the SA Conference

21:01 - The Sharks pick up a full-house of five points for their victory to take an early lead in both the SA Conference and the Overall standings.

21:01 - FULL-TIME: SHARKS 31 BULLS 16

21:00 - Pat Lambie jinxes his way over for the bonus-point try for the home side.

Lambie misses the conversion.

20:59 - How key could that try be for the Sharks come the end of the SA Conference and overall standings?

20:58 - TRY TO THE SHARKS!

20:56 - TWIST IN THE TAIL?

Yellow card for Bulls wing Bjorn Basson and the 80 minute mark is reached.

Lineout for the Sharks. Their last chance for a bonus point...

20:55 - In contrast, highly touted Bulls centre pairing JJ Engelbrecht and Jan Serfontein have been dead quiet

20:54 - Sharks centre Paul Jordaan has speed to burn. One to watch for sure this season #areyouwatchingHeynekeMeyer

20:47 - Blood-bin for Lambie as the clock shows NINE minutes remain

20:42 - YELLOW AT LAST

Referee Peyper at last shows a Sharks player yellow.

The unlucky recipient is Jean Deysel - only just on the field. He should be back for the final four minutes of the match.

20:40 - The 'Beeeeeeeast' goes on a typical barn-storming run, brushing aside Akona Ndungane likes he's not there

20:29 - WHOLESALE CHANGES FOR THE BULLS

Coach Frans Ludeke has seen enough of numbers 2, 8, 9 and 10 and four fresh faces trot onto Kings Park to do their best to rescue something from the match for the Bulls

20:24 - Matfield concedes his first penalty and Frans Steyn attempts a penalty from a million miles away.

He's short, the balls is cleared BACK to Steyn who attempts as even more audacious drop goal. But he's short again...

20:20 - Matfield's first scrum is a mess and the Bulls are penalised for offsides as it disintegrates.

Lambie takes aim at goal and SLOTS it!

Sharks 26-9 after 48 minutes

20:18 - Victor Matfield, fresh out of retirement, enters the fray.

Will he have an impact in the remaining 34 minutes?
