12:30 - QUOTE

"We get ourselves in a position to win. Inexperience is costing us, we gave away possession away there at the end. We must start learning from our mistakes. Injuries have upset us and that’s the reason for our set-piece problems. But we have a few home games now, and will be looking to get on a bit of a run," said Stormers captain Jean de Villiers.

12:25 - That ends a tour from hell for the Cape side, who lose all four their games on tour - the first time it has happened since the 1998 season!

12:24 - The Stormers have again left it for too late. The late substitutions made a big difference but coach Coetzee should have had the guts to make those calls earlier in the game.

12:23 - FULL-TIME: Reds 22-17 Stormers

12:22 - The Reds maintain possession and Genia boots it out to end the game.

11:55 - A minute, later, another lineout lost. I have nothing else to write on from the Stormers...

11:37 - FIRST HALF POSSESSION

Great to finally see the Stormers backline spread the ball nicely through the hands! All of Grant, De Jongh and Aplon did well there...

10:47 - A solid enough first scrum by the Stormers... Unlike their last one last week in Canberra...

10:45 - It's all Reds here in the early exchanges. However, a knock on close to the Stormers 22m line brings relief for the Capetonians...

10:44 - A narrow miss as Cooper hits the left hand upright!

10:43 - First penalty to the Reds as winger Rod Davies is tackled late by Deon Fourie. Quade Cooper to line up from close to the touchline.

10:40 - Finally a picture feed! The game is 11 seconds old...

10:38 - There is a problem with the picture feed from the ground to the SuperSport studio...

So apologies for that, but I'm sitting in our Cape Town office watching and not in Brisbane!

10:30 - The Stormers are against the ropes. They are ravaged my injuries, lack confidence and there's a cloud of uncertainty hanging over the coaching staff, with Gert Smal set to be appointed Director of Rugby next week. But often in the past, that's when WP/Stormers teams have surprised many. Maybe today is one of those days...

But having said that, the Reds are also desperate for a win after losing twice on the road in South Africa, where they left feeling cheated after some debatable officiating by the South African referees.
