18:41 - CONVERSION by Slade.

Watts sets up an attacking lineout...

18:15 - Seems to be only one team on the park at present!

18:14 - CONVERSION by Watts.

Cheetahs 24-26 Crusaders after 54 minutes.

18:13 - TRY! Teboho Mohoje scores under the posts after breaking and stepping like a centre before sprinting clear like a wing!

He ran from halfway with the Crusaders defence at sixes and sevens...

18:12 - Watts CONVERTS from the touchline.

Cheetahs 17-26 Crusaders after 51 minutes.

18:10 - TRY! It's that man Pretorius again. He dives over in the corner after Johann Sadie's chip-kick put the Crusaders under pressure.

There was nothing on there when Sadie got the ball inside his own half...

18:08 - A sniping break from the nippy Pretorius gives the Cheetahs hope but he knocks it on in a tackle just outside the 'Saders 22...

17:46 - PICTURE

Adriaan Strauss going hard at the Crusaders... (Gallo Images)

17:45 - Howard Mnisi has replaced Rayno Benjamin at inside centre for the Cheetahs.

17:43 - PENALTY converted by Slade.

Cheetahs 10-16 Crusaders after 36 minutes.

17:40 - Easy PENALTY for Watts.

Cheetahs 10-13 Crusaders after 33 minutes.

17:39 - Crusaders players caught off-side, not falling behind their own kicker, and it gives the Cheetahs an immediate chance to strike back!

17:38 - CONVERSION by Slade.

Cheetahs 7-13 Cheetahs after 30 minutes.

17:37 - TRY! Fullback Israel Dagg scores near the corner after following up on a grubber kick in behind the Cheetahs...

The try came after the Crusaders won a turnover just inside the Cheetahs half in the middle of the park.

17:35 - Good refereeing from Glen Jackson to go back and refer it. Also good to see that a TMO made the right call this time!

17:34 - NO TRY! Replays show that the ball went forward off Adriaan Strauss' hands in a tackle. Correct call made.

17:32 - After a concerted period of attack, the Crusaders drop it and Sarel Pretorius pounces to run 50m and score. But the referee wants to check for an earlier knock on from the Cheetahs...

17:30 - PENALTY by Slade.

Cheetahs 7-6 Crusaders after 22 minutes.

17:29 - Another chance for Slade to reduce the gap as the Cheetahs are penalised at a scrum just inside their own half.

17:28 - DID YOU KNOW?

According to the Vodacom Stats App the Cheetahs have not missed one conversion this season!

17:27 - TWEET

Daniller and Hendricks. Cheetahs gameplay seems to benefit from having nice, big wingers - Ami Kapilevich

17:24 - Watts CONVERTS from the touchline.

Cheetahs 7-3 Crusaders after 17 minutes.

17:22 - TRY! Cornal Hendricks scores in the corner after a brilliant break from Johann Sadie in midfield. That try came from first phase - a lineout on halfway...

I just criticised Sadie for not running straight . Maybe he heard me this time round...

17:21 - BIG BLOW FOR CHEETAHS!

Johan Goosen is still groggy and is now off for good. Elgar Watts returns...

17:19 - Some sideways running by the Cheetahs backs early on in this game. Johann Sadie the main culprit...

17:16 - PENALTY by Slade.

Cheetahs 0-3 Crusaders after 11 minutes.

17:15 - As always, the first scum is a right old mess, but the Cheetahs are the ones penalised.

Slade to line up again, about 35m out, 20m in-field...

17:14 - PACK WEIGHTS

Cheetahs 902kg
Crusaders 889kg

17:13 - GOOSEN BACK!

Johan Goosen has passed his concussion test and is back on. Good news for the home side!

17:13 - Colin Slade misses the penalty, just off the left-hand upright but misses...

17:12 - Cheetahs centre Johann Sadie caught holding on in the middle of the park. First kick at goal coming up, about 40m out...

17:09 - GOOSEN OFF!

Early injury blow to the Cheetahs as Johan Goosen leaves the field, replaced by Elgar Watts. Looks like concussion for Goosen!

He can come back if he passes the concussion test...

17:08 - Good pressure build-up from the 'Saders sees them surge up to the Cheetahs 22m line, but the move goes awry as the ball goes to no-one and into touch...

17:08 - Unfortunately, the Free State Stadium - as always - is pretty empty.

17:05 - Wow, almost a try from the kick-off as Sarel Pretorius charges down Colin Slade's kick!

But Pretorius couldn't get to the ball in time as he was illegally held back by hooker Corey Flynn. Referee Glen Jackson missed it!

17:05 - Cheetahs 10 Johan Goosen gets play under way...

17:04 - The roar of the Harley Davidson motorbikes greets Adriaan Strauss and his Cheetahs team...

The hosts are in all whites.

17:03 - Kieran Read, who is back after a concussion problem, leads out the Crusaders, clad in a predominantly black and grey jersey, with red shorts.

16:43 - Cheetahs coach Naka Drotské would be asking more of the same on the attacking front this week, after they ran in four tries to lead 34-10 against the Chiefs at half-time last week.

However, poor defence again cost them and they eventually ended up sharing the spoils 43-43. Improved defence must be at the order of the day this time round!

16:42 -  The Crusaders are seeking their first victory in Bloemfontein since 2007.

However, the 'Saders became the first team in 2014 to cross the Indian Ocean and claim a Super Rugby victory when they comfortably beat the Lions in Johannesburg last week, so they will be backing themselves today.

Welcome to Sport24's LIVE scoring and interactive commentary on today's Super Rugby match between the Cheetahs and Crusaders in Bloemfontein!

  • 80'

CONVERSION, CRUSADERS, BLEYENDAAL. 31-52. Two more.

  • 80'

    Full-time: Cheetahs 31-52 Crusaders

  • 80'

TRY, CRUSADERS, NADOLO. 31-50. A mistake from the Cheetahs leads to Nadolo running in from distance for his hat-trick. 50 points for the Crusaders!

  • 79'

CONVERSION, CRUSADERS, SLADE. 31-45. Easy points.

  • 78'

TRY, CRUSADERS, SLADE. 31-43. It's all over now as the Crusaders turn over possession and it's Slade with a free run down the right wing for the try!

  • 77'

Definitely not as Ellis fumbles the ball in contact so the Cheetahs have it back on halfway. Can they create something via the likes of Pretorius or Le Roux? Not much ground made as yet from the hosts.

  • 75'

Referee Jackson penalises Wyatt Crockett at scrum time so a big chance for the Cheetahs now as they look to implement their running game. But it's a frustrating passage for the hosts as crossing is called by the New Zealand official. Is that that?

  • 72'

Risky from Le Roux as he forces a speculator out to Hendricks and he spills the ball. Crusaders scrum now then about 40 metres from the home side's line.

  • 69'

He's missed the tough attempt so just a seven-point lead for the visitors. Still hope for the Cheetahs.

  • 68'

TRY, CRUSADERS, NADOLO. 31-38. Brilliant from Slade as he taps quickly inside his own half, catching the Cheetahs out before firing a ball wide to his wing who finishes well. This upcoming kick is massive.

  • 67'

How costly could this penalty miss be from Watts as he pushes one to the right of the uprights. Still plenty of time left in this game for more scores.

  • 65'

CONVERSION, CRUSADERS, SLADE. 31-33. Back in front.

  • 64'

TRY, CRUSADERS, TAYLOR. 31-31. We are level here as Bird powers through a gap to within fifteen metres before the recycled ball finds Taylor with the try.

  • 63'

So how will the Crusaders respond to this? They have a scrum 30 metres from the home line but their pack is heading backwards. Here's Tom Taylor soon after.

  • 60'

CONVERSION, CHEETAHS, WATTS. 31-26. He's on form.

  • 59'

TRY, CHEETAHS, LE ROUX. 29-26. The comeback is now complete. A cross kick from Watts led to Le Roux strolling over on the left wing. What a game here.

  • 58'

Scrum penalty going the way of the Cheetahs so fly-half Watts puts the ball into the Crusaders 22 with a superb kick. Massive chance for the home side now.

  • 55'

CONVERSION, CHEETAHS, WATTS. 24-26. Two point game.

  • 54'

TRY, CHEETAHS, MOHOJO. 22-26. The Cheetahs are on a roll now. Replacement Teboho Mohoje powers over for a score under the uprights with the extras to come.

  • 52'

CONVERSION, CHEETAHS, WATTS. 17-26. Excellent kick.

  • 50'

TRY, CHEETAHS, PRETORIUS. 15-26. What a try from the home side as Sadie's chip over the top leads to the busy Pretorius getting an offload off Uys before he raced over in the left-hand corner. Fantastic try.

  • 48'

Pretorius now shows his worth in midfield as he goes in between two props 35 metres out before spilling possession soon after. Crusaders scrum on their 22.

  • 46'

The Cheetahs know they must hit back pretty soon if they are to get the Crusaders on the ropes. Decent tempo to their game but little change given so far.

  • 44'

A decent response from the Cheetahs as they use the hands, going across from right to left before the ball goes into touch off Nadolo. Line-out 30 out.

  • 42'

CONVERSION, CRUSADERS, SLADE. 10-26. No mistake.

  • 41'

TRY, CRUSADERS, NADOLO. 10-24. Welcome back to the action where the Cheetahs have knocked on from the kick-off, handing the Crusaders a try for the big wing. What a costly error that could prove to be.

  • 40'

    Half-time: Cheetahs 10-19 Crusaders

  • 38'

PENALTY, CRUSADERS, SLADE. 10-19. And now another three points following a good break from Dagg and Crotty sees Slade step up and slot the simple kick.

  • 36'

PENALTY, CRUSADERS, SLADE. 10-16. The lead is back up to six points after Lappies Labuschagne is the man penalised for not rolling away. Easy points.

  • 33'

PENALTY, CHEETAHS, WATTS. 10-13. The home side cut the lead down to three points after four Crusaders forwards are clearly in front of Slade's clearance.

  • 30'

CONVERSION, CRUSADERS, SLADE. 7-13. Great strike.

  • 29'

TRY, CRUSADERS, DAGG. 7-11. Talk about a double blow for the Cheetahs as Todd grubbers through into the open space where Dagg races onto it before scoring.

  • 27'

So close for the Cheetahs as they are denied a try from Pretorius, with the TMO replays showing that Strauss had a hand in the tackle that knocked the ball forward. The Crusaders survive that one then.

  • 25'

The Crusaders are racking up the phases on halfway as Read pops up on a number of occasions in the outside channels. Nothing comes of it all though.

  • 23'

PENALTY, CRUSADERS, SLADE. 7-6. Another scrum blown against the Cheetahs so up steps Slade from about 40 metres out. It's in off the post to cut the arrears.

  • 21'

Lovely skills from Le Roux now as he shifts the ball away from contact on a couple of occasions, with the Crusaders struggling to deal with his quick hands. He's just gone down though but fortunately for the hosts he gets back up soon after and should be OK.

  • 18'

CONVERSION, CHEETAHS, WATTS. 7-3. Touchline effort!

  • 17'

TRY, CHEETAHS, HENDRICKS. 5-3. Too easy. Sadie hits a nice line in midfield before finding Daniller who had Cornal Hendricks on his right for the finish!

  • 16'

Goosen's now leaving the field permanently as Elgar Watts comes on to replace him. A big blow for the hosts who kick up to halfway with the throw coming.

  • 14'

Little joy for the Cheetahs at the moment and that sees Pretorius put boot to ball, finding a decent touch in the Crusaders 22. They reply to halfway.

  • 12'

PENALTY, CRUSADERS, SLADE. 0-3. The scrum creates points for the visitors and this time Slade makes the most of his opportunity. Much better strike.

  • 10'

So still scoreless here but there's a boost for the Cheetahs coming as Goosen seems to have passed the concussion test and returns. Crusaders scrum 40 out.

  • 8'

Matt Todd now shows his worth on the ground as he wins a penalty within kicking distance. Up steps Slade...but he's wide of the uprights. Bad miss.

  • 6'

Good work from Prinsloo now as he pounces at ruck time to win the penalty that goes to the Crusaders 22. Big chance now coming up for the home outfit.

  • 4'

Nothing comes of that though as Slade's pass goes into touch on the Cheetahs 22. Positive start here from both sides but the Cheetahs won't like seeing Goosen stagger off the field. Maybe a concussion.

  • 3'

The Crusaders survive that early scare before some kicking leads to Flynn throwing in on halfway. Now Ryan Crotty crashes it up before Nemani Nadolo is motoring down the left sideline. Promising attack.

  • 1'

Here we go then with New Zealand's Glen Jackson in the middle today. Johan Goosen kicks us off up to Sam Whitelock before Pretorius charges down Colin Slade and almost scores. Wow, frantic start here.

  • 0'

Hello from Bloemfontein for the penultimate game of the Super Rugby round. It's the Cheetahs versus the Crusaders coming up in what promises to be another open game at Free State Stadium. Team news is next.

  • 0'

Cheetahs boss Naka Drotske has named an unchanged matchday 23 for this clash and will be hoping for Sarel Pretorius to lead an early charge once again. Also look out for Willie le Roux and Boom Prinsloo.

  • 0'

Crusaders head coach Todd Blackadder has named a starting XV featuring four changes as Kieran Read, Corey Flynn, Nepo Laulala and Willi Heinz come in.
