Zeilinga gets a chance to win the game for the Sharks when the Lions are penalised for an indiscretion at a maul close to the halfway line! His kick has the distance but not the direction and the Lions scramble to get the ball into touch. The referee blows his final whistle and the home side are victorious! That's their fifth win from their last six games and they certainly deserve it! The Sharks came close in the end but they really didn't deserve to win this one as the Lions dominated for large periods, especially in the second half.

CONVERSION, SHARKS, ZEILINGA. 23-21. Zeilinga slots the two-pointer which closes the gap to two points.
TRY, SHARKS, DU TOIT! 23-19. The Sharks are hammering away at the Lions' line And after Matt Stevens is stopped just short, Thomas du Toit gathers before crashing over!
Now the Lions front row are pinged for a scrum infringement and Zeilinga opts to kick for touch. He puts the ball out deep inside the Lions' 22.
The Lions are giving their all as they look to secure a try-scoring bonus point. They take the ball through numerous phases just outside the Sharks'' 22 but are soon penalised when Corne Fourie holds onto the ball on the ground. Zeilinga kicks for touch and puts the ball out close to the hosts'' 10-metre line.
Monde Hadebe is pinged for placing his knee on the ground at a scrum. Jantjies kicks for touch and puts the ball out inside the Sharks' 22.
The Lions win plenty of ground as they take the ball through the phases up front. The ball is spun out wide but Derick Minnie knocks on a pass from Vorster.
The Sharks are pinged when several forwards drive into the side of a Lions maul. Jantjies puts the resulting penalty out on the visitors' five-metre line.
Mnisi and Mapoe combine brilliantly down the left-hand touchline! Mapoe is stopped just short of the line before Tecklenburg gathers and crashes over but his effort is disallowed after he clatters into Franco Mostert before diving over!
YELLOW CARD, SHARKS, ESTERHUIZEN! Andre Esterhuizen is sent to the sin bin for a late and high tackle on Combrinck.
Mvovo takes the ball into contact but makes little headway as he runs into a brick wall names Jaco Kriel!
Jantjies attacks the gainline from a scrum on the Sharks' 22! He is through a half gap but Marcell Coetzee stops him in his tracks with a great cover tackle!
Jantjies has a chance to extend the hosts' lead after Sithole is penalised for a late tackle but once again his kick is off target.
Zeilinga lines up a shot at goal after Warwick Tecklenburg is pinged for a ruck infringement. The kick is wide of the uprights, however.
TRY, LIONS, VORSTER! 23-14. The Lions launch an attack just outside the Sharks' 22 and Mnisi throws an inside pass to Harold Vorster who glides through a gap! He hands off Waylon Murray before touching down in the left-hand corner! Jantjies' shot at goal is off target.
CONVERSION, LIONS, JANTJIES. 18-14. Jantjies adds the easy extras to extend the Lions' lead.
TRY, LIONS, DE KLERK! 16-14. Ruan Combrinck makes a devastating run from inside his half and beats six defenders before S'bura Sithole ring him to ground in front of the uprights! De Klerk spots a gap and sells Odwa Ndungane a dummy before diving over!
Zeilinga gets the second half started with a high hanging kick which Mnisi gathers despite great pressure from the Sharks forwards.
TRY, LIONS, MNISI! 11-14. The Lions are camped close to the Sharks' tryline and Jantjies throws an inside pass to Howard Mnisi who crashes over despite the attentions of two defenders. Jantjies is off target with the conversion attempt and that's the final act of the half. The Sharks fought back well after the Lions were dominant early on but that late try has put the visitors back in touch.

The Lions launch an attack from a line-out deep inside the Sharks' 22. Andries Ferreira and Warwick Tecklenburg are prominent ball carriers.
Mnisi makes a break and gets a pass out to De Klerk out of the back of his hand! De Klerk makes some progress but knocks on after a tackle from behind from Zeilinga.
CONVERSION, SHARKS, ZEILINGA. 6-14. Zeilinga makes no mistake from the kicking tee to extend the visitors'' lead.
TRY, SHARKS, MVOVO! 6-12. The Sharks attack from just inside their half and Odwa Ndungane joins the line at pace! He draws in a defender before offloading to Lwazi Mvovo who outpaces the cover defence before crossing over!
There's a break in play as Mark Richards stays down after clattering into Willem Alberts while trying to gather a chip kick from De Klerk. Richards is out cold after the hit and is eventually stretchered off the field by the Lions' medical staff. He is replaced by Howard Mnisi.
The Sharks try to launch an attack from a line-out on the Lions' 10-metre line but Whiteley does well to tap the ball back to his side and Mostert pounces on the loose ball.
S'bura Sithole runs onto an inside pass from Zeilinga but goes down after a thumping tackle from Lionel Mapoe!
CONVERSION, SHARKS, ZEILINGA. 6-7. Zeilinga adds the extras which puts the visitors in front.
TRY, SHARKS, BOTHMA! 6-5. Andre Esterhuizen makes a lovely break from close to the halfway line and offloads to Waylon Murray inside the Lions' 22! Murray goes to ground close to the uprights and the ball comes out to Renaldo Bothma who spins out of two tackles before crashing over!
PENALTY, LIONS, JANTJIES. 6-0. Jantjies adds another three-pointer after Cobus Reinach is penalised for holding onto the ball on the ground.
Harold Vorster makes a break before offloading to Jaco Kriel who is through a gap! He gets a pass out who is stopped in his tracks by Odwa Ndungane just outside the Sharks' 22.
Fred Zeilinga gets a chance to level the score after Warren Whiteley and Julian Redelinghuys are penalised for straying offside on defence but the kick is off target!
PENALTY, LIONS, JANTJIES. 3-0. Jantjies gets the game's first points from the kicking tee.
The Lions attack from a scrum close to the Sharks' tryline. They absolutely destroy the visitors at the set-piece before Dale Chadwick is pinged for illegal scrummaging.
Several Sharks forwards are pinged for going off their feet at a ruck. Jantjies lines up a shot at goal but his effort is to the left of the uprights.
The Sharks launch an attack from inside their 22 and are soon close to the home side's quarter but lose possession when Lwazi Mvovo knocks on.
And we're off! Elton Jantjies gets the game underway. His kick is a short, hanging one and Franco Mostert does well to gather just beyond the 10-metre line where he hits the deck.
The Sharks have been forced into a late change ahead of kick off. Ryan Kankowski has been forced to withdraw through injury. This means Renaldo Bothma moves to number eight with Willem Alberts coming in to the run-on side on the flank while Giant Mtyanda takes Alberts' place on the bench.
Lock Marco Wentzel will captain the Sharks as part of several changes to the starting XV for this encounter. Wentzel is the Durban-based outfit's fourth captain this season. Etienne Oosthuizen and Willem Alberts have both returned from injury lay-offs and the pair will hope to make an impact off the bench. Odwa Ndungane has been named at full-back, replacing SP Marias who gets a rest after starting all eight matches to date. This sees the return of S'bura Sithole on the wing, with Fred Zeilinga replacing Lambie in the final change to the backline. Up front, there is an overhaul with Lourens Adriaanse, Franco Marais and Dale Chadwick packing down in the front row with Jannie du Plessis and Beast Mtawarira rested, while Renaldo Bothma replaces Jean Deysel in the final change.

Lions boss Johan Ackermann has made four changes to his starting line-up. There are two changes to his pack, with Julian Redelinghuys coming in at tighthead and Jaco Kriel into the back row. Ackermann has also made two changes to his starting backline with Faf de Klerk starting at scrum-half, while Mark Richards is also set to make his Super Rugby debut on the left wing. Lohan Jacobs will also make his debut if he comes off the bench as cover for de Klerk.
