Joubert kicks off Super Rugby

Cape Town - Craig Joubert will handle the first match of the 2014 Vodacom Super Rugby tournament between the Cheetahs and Lions in Bloemfontein on Saturday.

Kick-off is at 17:05.

Compatriot Jason Jaftha will be in charge of the only other match in Week 1 - between the Cell C Sharks and Bulls in Durban.

However, Jaftha is under an injury cloud at present, after he was forced to leave the field with a leg injury after only four minutes of the Lions v Sharks warm-up match in Johannesburg on Saturday.
