Jordaan back for Lions clash?

Cape Town - Cell C Sharks centre Paul Jordaan, currently sidelined with a knee injury, has targeted a return against the Lions in mid-April.

Jordaan had been a revelation for the Sharks before his injury, with suggestions he could be a bolter in Heyneke Meyer's mid-year Springbok squad.

Jordaan on Wednesday tweeted an "injury update", hinting he could be ready for a return to action against the Lions in Johannesburg on Saturday, April 12.

My knee is coming along nicely and if all goes well i should be back for the lions game after the bye wkend #blessed

The Sharks face the Waratahs in Durban on Saturday, before enjoying a bye weekend.

The Sharks currently top both the SA Conference and Overall standings.
