Jake White selects Lions lock

Cape Town - Former Lions lock Etienne Oosthuizen will make his Brumbies debut against the Bulls at Canberra Stadium on Saturday.

Kick-off is at 10:40 SA time.

Brumbies coach Jake White recruited Oosthuizen, who has revealed his intentions to one day represent the Wallabies, at the end of the 2012 season.

Other changes to the side that lost 35-22 to the Stormers in Cape Town last weekend see Scott Fardy replacing Sam Carter in the second row, and Nic White returning to the scrumhalf position for Ian Prior.

Captain Ben Mowen also shifts back to No 8 with Peter Kimlin moving from the second row to blindside flank. Fotu Auelua is demoted to the bench as a result.

Fullback Jesse Mogg will be given an extra week to recover from a shoulder knock he suffered against the Sharks in Durban.

No! I think the smart thing to do is start again with a younger skipper ...
