Pretoria - JJ Engelbrecht of the Bulls has been issued with a citing commissioner warning (CCW) for contravening Law 10.4 (e) dangerous tackling during a Super Rugby match at the weekend.

The incident occurred in the 26th minute of the match between the Bulls and Stormers played at Loftus Versfeld in Pretoria on 14 February 2015 when Engelbrecht made contact with Stormers' No. 9 Nic Groom.

In this case the referee for the match, Jaco Peyper, acted upon the incident by awarding a penalty. Upon further review of the match footage, the citing commissioner deemed a CCW was appropriate.
