Highlanders' Smith cited

Dunedin - Highlanders scrumhalf Aaron Smith will appear in front of a SANZAR Judicial Hearing after being cited for a tip tackle on his Blues opposite number Toby Morland in a their Vodacom Super Rugby match in Dunedin on Friday.
 
Smith received a yellow card for the incident in the 76th minute of the match. He is charged with contravening Law 10.4 (j) relating to a dangerous tackle.
 
The hearing will be chaired by SANZAR Judicial Officer, Nigel Hampton QC and will take place at the NZRU offices in Wellington on Monday, May 2 at 04:00 SA time.
