Cape Town - Despite his horror show in Canberra at the weekend, Stormers flyhalf Peter Grant will get another chance against the Reds.
Grant had arguably his worst game in a Stormers jersey when they went down 25-15 to the Brumbies.
Apart from average kicking out of hand, which included crucially not kicking out following a penalty, Grant only succeeded with two out of five kicks at goal. The kicks were also not difficult by his lofty standards.
To put things into perspective, Grant only missed four kicks at goal during the entire 2012 campaign.
But his coach feels he should get another chance in Brisbane on Saturday.
"He wasn't good, but surely deserves another chance," Allister Coetzee told Die Burger's website.
"Peter still did a lot of good things, especially on defence. The reason he was so deep on attack was to evade the Brumbies' rush defence.
"It was also the first time I saw Peter struggle to handle pressure. He has been a match winner in the past with a kick from the corner."
Saturday's clash against the Reds kicks off at 10:40 (SA time).
