Cape Town - Springbok flyhalf Johan Goosen is being linked with a move to Western Province and the Stormers, Netwerk24 reports.

The 22-year-old currently plays for French club Racing Metro, but he is not the No 1 flyhalf there and has also been utilised at fullback by the Parisian club.
Goosen has in recent times fallen behind Handre Pollard and Pat Lambie in the flyhalf pecking order at the Springboks and a move to the Cape could reinvigorate his career.
Should Western Province be successful in their attempts to lure the former Cheetahs pivot, he would be a welcome addition to their squad, especially with Demetri Catrakilis leaving for Montpellier in France after the completion of this year's Currie Cup competition.
Catrakilis's back-up, Kurt Coleman, is struggling to impose himself, while the other flyhalves at the union - Robert du Preez, Ernst Stapelberg, Jean-Luc du Plessis and Brandon Thomson - are still inexperienced.
