Whitelock to lead Crusaders

Cape Town - Flank George Whitelock will lead the Crusaders in the absence of the injured Kieran Reid when they face the Stormers at Newlands on Saturday night.

According to the Rugby365 website, coach Todd Blackadder on Wednesday made four changes to the team that beat the Kings 55-20 in Christchurch last week.

Luke Whitelock comes in at No 8 while Tyler Bleyendaal replaces Dan Carter at flyhalf. Carter stayed in New Zealand as his wife is expecting their first child.

Israel Dagg returns to fullback, moving Tom Marshall back to the wing and Zac Guildford to the bench.

Centre Ryan Crotty will also be playing his 50th Super Rugby game for the Crusaders.
