    Force shock Waratahs in Perth

    Cape Town - The Force dealt the Australian Conference-chasing Waratahs a blow in their Super Rugby clash in Perth on Saturday.

    As it happened: Force v Waratahs

    The Force won 18-11 after leading 13-6 at half-time.

    The Force scored two tries through scrumhalf Ryan Louwrens and flank Matt Hodgson. Replacement Luke Burton added a conversion and two penalties.

    The Waratahs replied with a try by wing Taqele Naiyaravoro and two penalties by flyhalf Bernard Foley.

    The Force picked up four points for their victory and moved to fourth in the Australian Conference and 14th in the Overall log.

    The Waratahs picked up a point for losing by seven or fewer and moved to the top of the Australian Conference and third in the Overall standings.

    In next weekend's Round 14 action the Force have a bye, while the Waratahs host the Sharks in Sydney (Saturday, May 16 at 11:40).
