Fleck confident Jantjies will play

Cape Town - Stormers backline coach Robbie Fleck is confident flyhalf Elton Jantjies will be ready for action ahead of their Super Rugby clash against the Cheetahs in Bloemfontein on Saturday.

Jantjies, 22, sustained a bruise to his chest against the Crusaders last week and needs to pass a fitness test on Friday.

However, Fleck told Cape Talk on Thursday that Jantjies is 99% certain of playing, with the bruising to his chest not too severe.

In the unlikely event of Jantjies not playing, Gary van Aswegen will play flyhalf, with Tim Swiel coming onto the substitutes' bench.

Kick-off at the Free State Stadium is at 17:05 on Saturday.
