First Super start for Serfontein

Cape Town - Lock Boela Serfontein will get his first Super Rugby start when the Cheetahs host the Brumbies in Bloemfontein on Saturday.

The 25-year-old, who is the older brother of Springbok and Bulls centre Jan, made his Super Rugby debut off the bench against the Western Force last week.

Serfontein replaces Waltie Vermeulen for Saturday's match, with the latter shifting down to the bench.

In the only other change to the team that lost 23-16 to the Force, scrumhalf Shaun Venter is elevated to the start in place of Sarel Pretorius, who has been ruled out with an ankle injury.

The uncapped Renier Botha comes in on the bench to provide scrumhalf cover.

Kick-off for Saturday's clash at the Free State Stadium is scheduled for 19:10.
