Double blow for Bulls

Johannesburg - Flank Deon Stegmann and hooker Willie Wepener have been ruled out of the Bulls' Super Rugby clash against the Stormers at Newlands on Saturday.

Team doctor Org Strauss on Tuesday confirmed that Stegmann's troublesome hamstring did not recover sufficiently to play in the Super Rugby clash.

Wepener picked up an infection of some facial muscle and was ruled unfit to play.

He will probably be replaced as back-up hooker by Bongi Mbonambi, former SA U-20 representative.

Coach Frans Ludeke will announce his team to play the Stormers on Wednesday.
