Doppies quits Lions for Italy

Johannesburg - Lions centre Doppies La Grange has signed a two-year contract with Benetton Treviso in Italy.

La Grange will be leaving the Lions on June 30, 2012 to take up his new contract.

La Grange, who was named vice-captain of the Lions this Super Rugby season, has seen his playing time curtailed by injury.

The Lions, currently on tour in Australasia, take on the Blues in Auckland on Friday. Kick-off is at 09:35 SA time.
