Bulls: Deon out, Dewald in

2012-05-11 18:44

Pretoria - According to the Blue Bulls website Bulls flanker Deon Stegmann broke his arm in his side’s 27-24 win over the Waratahs in Sydney on Friday and will return to South Africa. He will be out of action for six weeks.

He will be replaced by Dewald Potgieter, who has been declared fit following a hamstring strain.

Potgieter and Dean Greyling will fly to New Zealand on Saturday, where the Bulls next take on the Highlanders.

Greyling was on maternity leave after his wife gave birth on Monday and will again join up with the team on Sunday.

    Stegmanns own fault.

It's your own fault that you look like you do as well... IDIOT!

Marnus having broken both an arm and a leg it certainly aint pleasant.. Doubt whether the oke is masochistic to that extent! Foolish statement!

Paternity leave. Not maternity leave. Goodness.

  • Marius - 2012-05-12 04:42

Where does Sport 24 get these writers from who doesn't even know basic English? It is paternity leave, not maternity leave . It was Dean's wife who gave birth not him.

LOL, too true - what is worse though is almost every cricket report on this site has all the wrong info - you need to go to cricinfo to make sure the statements are true. I mean, how hard is it to get a fact / stat right?

I am nothing special when it comes to the written word, however i do know rubbish when i see it. I would think that it is a basic requirement of any language to use the correct gender reference, so let us start there. Who proof reads sport24 articles?
