Cooper wishes Aplon well

Cape Town - Wallaby and Reds flyhalf has wished the Stormers a safe journey home from Australia - and fullback Gio Aplon a speedy recovery from his elbow injury.

Aplon was forced to leave the field in the 23rd minute in Brisbane with a dislocated elbow.

Following the match between the Reds and the Stormers on Saturday, the 25-year-old left the following message on his Twitter account:

"Wishing the stormers a safe trip home to Capetown and especially wishing the little magician 1GioAplon a speedy recovery from his injury.."

A grateful Gio Aplon thanked the Australian on Twitter for his concern with the following response:

"@QuadeCooper thanks a lot my man really appreciate it all the best with the rest of your season keep up the good work!God Bless"

The Stormers lost 22-17 to the Reds and play the Waratahs at Newlands on Saturday, April 5 (kick-off 19:10) in their next match.
