Auckland - Benson Stanley may have played his last game for the Blues.
According to the Stuff.co.nz website, the three-Test All Black picked up another concussion in the 59-12 loss to the Crusaders on Saturday and although it was the first time he has been concussed this year, throughout his career he's has been blighted by serious head knocks.
Blues coach Pat Lam on Monday ruled out any chance of Stanley being back before the three-week break in June and said there was a 'good chance' that he won't play again afterwards.
As the 27-year-old has signed to play for Clermont next season, the latest concussion has spelled the end of his time with the Blues.
"It's concerning, another concussion and he's had a few now," said Lam.
Stanley will be in the hands of the Blues medical team and then his future plans will be assessed.
