Coenie big boost - Kleynhans

Cape Town - Former Cheetahs coach Peet Kleynhans says Bok prop Coenie Oosthuizen's mere presence will be a big boost for the Cheetahs in their Super Rugby clash against the Brumbies in Canberra on Saturday.

Oosthuizen will play his first match this year after injuring his neck at the end of last year's Currie Cup.

"Coenie is a player that gets things going for a team.

"It may be his first match after his injury ... But I think his and Ashley's (Johnson, eightman) inclusion in the starting team could make a difference.

"If Ashley's on song he can make things happen," Kleynhans told the Volksblad newspaper.

The 22-year-old Oosthuizen is one of four changes to the Cheetahs' starting line-up for their first overseas clash. He replaces Trevor Nyakane in the front row and Johnson is in for Davon Raubenheimer.

In other changes George Earle comes in at lock for Andries Ferreira and Cameron Jacobs replaces Rocco Jansen at wing.

But all eyes will be on Oosthuizen to spark the Cheetahs' pack into action after some lacklustre efforts at times in their last two games.
