Cheetahs suffer Goosen blow

Cape Town - The high-flying Cheetahs team have been dealt a massive blow ahead of their Super Rugby clash against the Force in Perth on Saturday.

Kick-off is at 12:45 SA time.

According to reports out of Manly, flyhalf Johan Goosen slipped and damaged his cruciate ligaments during a practice session on Monday and will head back to South Africa. The exact duration of his time on the sidelines is unclear at this stage.

The Cheetahs have won their last two matches on their Australasian tour having beaten the Highlanders 36-19 in Dunedin and the Waratahs 27-26 in Sydney last weekend.
