Sydney - Butch James will start his first match, while centre and captain Doppies la Grange returns to action for the Lions in their Super Rugby clash against the Waratahs in Sydney on Saturday.

The Lions pack that subdued the Brumbies in last week’s impressive win in the Super Rugby competition has been retained.
As impressive as Dylan Des Fountain and young Elton Jantjies were last weekend, they will start the Waratahs match off the bench.
Coach John Mitchell as opted to retain Alwyn Hollenbach, who moves to outside centre. Des Fountain drops to the bench to make way for the experienced La Grange who has recovered from his elbow injury.
On the bench Jacobie Adriaanse comes in as prop replacement for Kevin Buys who is injured. Ross Geldenhuys will join the team as cover for Buys.
James came on nine minutes before the end in last Saturday's match to earn his first cap for the Lions.
