Bulls respond to playing woes

Pretoria - In response to their poor on-field form, the Vodacom Bulls have launched an exciting new fan-centric campaign called "Legends of Loftus" to thank their ongoing loyal supporters.

The Bulls have encouraged all fans to join the experience and become a Legend of Loftus as the team head home from their overseas leg in this year's Super Rugby campaign.

A campaign set to acknowledge and thank loyal supporters, the "Legends of Loftus" also encourages new fans to climb on board.

"Whilst all of us - management, players & coaches - have been disappointed and agreed to work harder with regards to our on-field performance of late, our followers have remained ever loyal and supportive," said Blue Bulls CEO Barend van Graan.

"Their hunger is evident in the sea of blue surrounding opposition as they face our passionate Loftus powerhouse of players and fanatics. For this reason we are launching the "Legends of Loftus" campaign - a campaign showcasing the genuine fans by acknowledging their emotion, commitment and appetite for the game.

Captain Victor Matfield also re-iterated the importance of support from fans.

"Unless you have participated in this magnificent game at the highest level, will you understand the chilling effect that the blue Loftus fans have on your competitors. There is a deep sense of pride that comes in being part of a unit that is passionately followed by thousands and it most certainly puts you on the front foot before kick-off. On behalf of the players, I urge all fans to remain as loyal as always, for we need you more now than ever."

The Legends of Loftus campaign is a call-out to all Vodacom Bulls fans to get down to the stadium on match day - bring your blue and display your passion. Go to the Bulls website and stand a chance to win tickets, signed jerseys and a fully catered VIP suite for you and 10 mates.

Further enhancing the Vodacom Bulls offering, they have revised their Super Rugby ticket prices in an attempt to keep the fans flocking in.
