Bulls keep an eye on Greyling
Cape Town - Apart from prop Dean Greyling, the Bulls touring squad received a clean bill of health from team doctor Org Strauss in Auckland on Monday.
Greyling was the only squad member who did not take full part in training on Monday.
Greyling will only take part in selected team training exercises as he is still recovering from a thigh haematoma sustained in a car crash two weeks ago.
All of Jesse Kriel (knee contusion), Arno Botha (hip), Bjorn Basson (ankle), Werner Kruger (ankle), Jacques-Louis Potgieter (hamstring tear), Burger Odendaal (ankle) and Jan Serfontein (hip) have recovered from their niggles and will be considered for the opening tour match against the Blues this weekend.
Meanwhile, Irne Herbst has joined the long-term injury list after rupturing his ACL. He will only return to the playing field next year, alongside Piet van Zyl, who was also ruled out for the remainder of the season with the same knee injury.
Pierre Schoeman (knee), Bandise Maku (pectoral) and Ruan Steenkamp (knee) will all return on July 31 and Ryan Nell (knee) and Duncan Matthews (knee) on August 31.
